Situated at Cudlee Creek in the Mt Lofty Ranges 40 km from Adelaide. Small farm growing Cherries and also under the Goldengum Prefix breeding Purebred Arabian Horses, Palominos and occasionally Dexter Cattle.

Louise has had pet beagles for many years, In 1996 we decided to acquire a show quality beagle to begin our kennel. A lovely little Tan and White bitch Holyrood Taltarni Babe (Holly) was purchased from Mrs. Anna Hanlin at Holyrood Kennels in Melbourne. She became our foundation bitch who produced 3 very nice litters for us.

We aim to produce quality beagles who can capably do what they where originally used for. Temperament is paramount, even during the excitement of the hunt they must remain tractable to voice control at all times. Conformation, feet and pads are of equal importance for the dogs to be able to hunt continuously during the season.

All our beagles live quite happily in a pack with our staffordshire terriers and three and half year old Grandson. All are house dogs (unless wringing wet) and if not “beagling” around the back paddocks they can be curled up in front of the fire.

All hunting is drag hunting and the dogs will quite happily cover up to 50kms at a time.
